Strikeworks Studio · A UX Studio

Websites that load fast, read clearly, and actually get built by one person who answers the phone.

I research, design, and hand-code small, accessible websites for individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses that need a professional site without a large agency price tag.

Why clients work with me

Fast, hand-coded sites

No page-builder bloat. Every site is written in semantic HTML5 and CSS3 by hand, which keeps pages small and quick to load on a phone on a slow connection.

Accessible by default

Color contrast, alt text, and keyboard navigation are part of the build from day one, not a fix I bolt on after a client complains something does not work.

One person, direct access

You are not routed through an account manager to reach the person actually writing your code. I handle design, development, and support myself.

Featured work

A few recent projects that show the range of what I build, from a nonprofit's full site redesign to a small bakery's first online ordering page. Each case study walks through the challenge the client brought me, what I actually built, and the result.

What clients say

“Gilbert rebuilt our site in about three weeks and it actually loads on the slow WiFi in our building, which the last one never did.”
